Category 3 also affects flooring differently than Cat 1 and Cat 2 water damages. If your property’s flooring is porous it will have to be removed to dissolve any chance of residual microbes, bacteria, and chances of secondary damage. If your flooring is cleanable, meaning sewage has not penetrated beneath the flooring, then we will enforce the disinfecting and drying process and finalize with grout replacement or floor refinishing.
